Impact: how the little things make a difference

I came back from the Impact Bootcamp ran by Ken McArthur a few weeks ago. See TheImpactFactor.com for more information.

This event stress the fact that the littlest things that you do or not do have consequences. For example, did you know that as you breathe or while you were driving, you are influencing the weather pattern for days to come?

Also, how are you with your children? Are you playing attention to them? Do you spend time with them? The tiniest attention you give them or lack there of will make a huge difference in their life. How often did you wish that your parents had spent more time with you when you were a child?

So you see, anything you do or not do have a lasting impact!

While I was there, I was involved in a project to bring to life a worthy cause - saving our kids, namely the troubled teenages. All of the attendees were divided into about six groups - ranging from PR, to social media, to blogging, to corporate sponsorship. I was exposed to how team work can bring something to life.

Maurice Castle and I made a connection while I briefly met him and his friend Joe at Ross Goldberg’s 3 Sides of Traffic event in Long Island. I’ve made a new friend and we now converse on Twitter.

So my suggestion for everyone is to do something, anything that would leave a legency. The littlest stuff, even meaningless at the time you perform it, will leave behind an impact that you have done today.

Ken Mcarthur Impact Bootcamp day 3

Today is the last day of the Impact Bootcamp…

It all started with a workshop by Ken McArthur and Life Coach and Leadership Speaker Brendon Burchard. If you visit the Impact Factor website, you will learn about both of these gentlement.

If you were listening to the live stream in the morning, you would have gotten a great presentation from Brendon Burchard! He shared his life story from life threathening injury to the thrill of jumping off an airplane! Ok, he was terrified! But his two part presentation was the highlight of the event! That’s how powerful it was.

After lunch, Sanyika Calloway Boyce held another one of her spotlight session. But due to time constraints, she did the spotlight with Ken McArthus and Warrent Whitlock. They went to getting exposure the media in the forms of tv, radio, as well as publishing of books to gain the creditility that you need in getting your messages out there.

Felicia Slattery is the next presenter. She is a speaker and a communications coach as well. Her main thing is about creditability and the best way to do a speech.

Finally, Ken McArthur closed the day.

What’s next? Well, as part of the Impact Bootcamp, you will start to hear about the SpeakOutAndSaveLives program that this bootcamp is puting together. It is geared toward helping trouble teens; especially in trying to help teens from becoming a statistic. Nationwide, more and more teenages are comteplating suicide. And it is this that prompted Ken McArthur to try to enlist help from people for this worthy cause.

John Reese Launches Traffic Secrets 2

After 4 years since the release of the original Traffic Secrets course, John Reese finally announced the availability of the Traffic Secrets 2.0 course.

This is a course about getting targeted internet traffic - with a twist of the new Web 2.0 elements. John Reese posted on his blog that the cost of the course will be reasonable - less than $400.

I have viewed the first two pre-launch videos - they are awesome!
